American Airlines has updated their check-in policy and now requires passengers and their baggage to be checked-in 45 minutes before departure on domestic flights and 60 minutes before departure on international flights. You can check in as a passenger and get your boarding pass up to 24 hours before your flight using the American Airlines app, or at aa.com
